Founded in November 2025, Vesak Care Foundation was born out of a deep understanding of the challenges families face when caring for seriously ill or elderly loved ones at home. Co-founders Viprachit Deodutta Walkay and Akash Gunwant Bhaarateey witnessed first-hand the acute shortage of dignified, affordable home care in Kolhapur, Maharashtra.
They recognised a critical gap: professional, empathetic, and transparent home healthcare that families could trust. Vesak Care Foundation was established to bridge that gap — ensuring patients receive the comfort and expert care they deserve in the familiar surroundings of their own homes.
Beyond home care, we are deeply committed to community health. We regularly organise blood donation, eye, and general health camps to reach underserved populations across the region.
